I recently visited Pleasant House Bakery in Bridgeport, a local bakery serving old fashioned royal pies made in-house from locally-sourced ingredients. The menu includes a variety of pies like the kale and mushroom pie pictured here.

The bakery also serves in-house made ginger ale and hibiscus tea sodas.

You can order your meal for Take Out or dine in and BYOB. Look for Pleasant House at Pilsen's Farmer's Market or look up their Food Truck locations on their website.
