ANN ARBOR FARMER'S MARKET

Labor Day Weekend in Ann Arbor. Chicagoans can be pretty nice people but I definetly feel a shift when I get into Ann Arbor. It was a nice surprise to see the farmer's market was going on across the street when I saw Zingerman's line was out the door and around the corner and I wasn't quite in the mood to wait. 

If only I could have taken it all with me. I grabbed a couple things for a galette I was making for a holiday get together but wished I could have somehow managed to take eight herb plants and a fruit pie on the bus ride back to Chicago.

    

I also ran into this fellow right outside the market. It's the first time I've seen him but looks like he's kind of popular.
